"Hands and Hearts"

The Hands and Hearts community service program was created by Irene over a decade ago. It began when a talented group of four advanced high school children decided to use their gift to raise money for the Alpine Learning Group, an organization whose mission is to provide learners with autism and their families comprehensive services designed to foster individual growth and personal achievement.

Our recently produced concert, "Meant to Be Heard", took place at Merkin Concert Hall. We raised over $12,000 in support of the Vital Voices project. This is a non-profit organization working with women and girls around the world who are accelerating peace and prosperity in their communities.

In addition to large scale benefit concerts, our students consistently play at hospitals and assisted living facilities, generously donating their time and talent. Many students have gone on to begin community service programs of their own. Olivia Michael, first runner up and winner of the talent portion of the 2016 Miss New Jersey pageant, created "Arts for Everyone".

Former student, Madison Steele, developed "Arts from the Heart" and raised funds for families struck by tragedy.
